I'm trying to find an interview Marc did a number of years back. It had all the usual hits on it, but he also talked about having hit a writers block, and the painter Frederic Edwin Church who hit the mountain of all blocks when he could no longer paint... and ended up building a masterpiece of a house, Olana... He went on to talk about how he composed it on a rinky dink keyboard, and he just had to have that generic "Pop/rock" drum riff going on in the background (which his drummer then supplied). It is my absolute favorite performance of that song, but I can't find a recording of it anywhere. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I thought it was on WORLD CAFE, but I can't seem to find it there, either.

Sorry I missed you in concert in Seattle. But heard your interview on the radio. Wish you were coming out a little later in the year. As you mentioned in interview lots of people used True Companion for their wedding song. That was my dedication to my wife 20 years ago coming this August. Would have loved to have taken her to your concert for our Anniversary.

Still all it all lots of good memories, haven't been listening to anything new since then, but looking for the new album now -thx

Does anyone know how to get a video recording of the shows 2/13 & 2/14 at City Winery NYC? We came from Portland, OR to see one and it was absolutely fabulous. Marc said downloads would be available but we left before we got any information.

Sadly, this was a premature announcement on the part of the promoter and reached the public based on a rumour. Marc will not be supporting Bonnie on this tour unfortunately.

Hmmm, neither of those are particularly local and I wouldn't normally consider a Bonnie Rait concert (although I have a couple of CDs). It's certainly closer than a trip to the US though.

Any chances he might do a mini tour of his own while he is over here?
